About Ashwood Management Partners

Ashwood Management Partners, LLC is a management consulting firm that specializes in assisting stockholders of private companies obtain liquidity through a sale, merger or other business combination. The principals, G. Bradford Solso and Jack J. McGovern, have extensive experience in capital market transactions including private placements and public offerings of debt securities, structured leases and equipment financings, private placement and initial public offering of equity securities, buy-side and sell-side merger transactions, foreign exchange transactions and derivative securities transactions. In addition, each of the principals has held executive management positions, including chief executive officer, chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Brad is the founder and managing partner of Ashwood Management Partners. He has a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from San Francisco State University and is a certified public accountant, licensed in California. Brad began his career at KPMG, LLP where his clients included financial services companies and investment funds. Following KPMG, Brad was the Senior Vice President, Treasury at Visa International where he was responsible for all capital markets activities, including managing Visa's first time rating by Moody's and Standard and Poor's rating services, and first time issuance of commercial paper in the European market and medium term notes and commercial paper in the United States market. Additionally, he established Visa's foreign exchange operation that set exchange rates for the Visa clearing system and traded in excess of $30 billion annually. After Visa, Brad has managed transactions, valued at over $1 billion, including the initial public offering of Preview Systems and sell-side mergers, advised venture funds on investment transactions in the Technology and Financial Services industries, and assisted Boards of Directors with business strategy, financing strategy, exit strategy and stock option pricing.

Jack is a partner of Ashwood Management Partners. He has a bachelor of science degree in business administration from California State University, Chico and is a certified public accountant, licensed in California. After beginning his career at KPMG, LLP and serving clients in the financial services industry, Jack joined Matrix Leasing International, an advisor to Northwest Airlines, where he financed in excess of $3 billion in aircraft acquisitions. Jack then spent several years with Strategic Capital Inc., a boutique M&A advisory firm where his largest client was Cementos de Mexicanos ("Cemex"). During his tenure, Jack was responsible for all acquisitions and dispositions for Cemex in the US and Caribbean. Prior to joining Ashwood Management Partners, Jack served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of both public and venture-backed companies, in the Life Sciences and Technology industries, primarily focused on strategy, capital (debt and equity) formation, operations and M&A activity.
